Looking for Participants
for Citizens’ Police College Once again, Crime
Prevention is hosting a fall Citizens’ Police College. This popular HPS
community event is in its 20th year. Civilian participants
receive informal lectures/presentations which educate them on what the police
do and don’t do, enabling them to better understand our actions and act as
ambassadors within our community. Class size will be roughly 80 people. The course runs six weeks
with classes hosted in the Central Station gymnasium. The six dates for this
year’s course are Thursday, October 5, 12, 19, 26 and November 2, 9 from 6pm
– 8:30pm. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to
contact any member of the Crime Prevention Unit. |
